PHL to Center City: a ten-mile airport car service
Philadelphia International is about 10 miles from Center City. Hotels in Center City, Rittenhouse Square and Old City are close together, which makes grouped arrivals workable. Split the manifest by landing window, then by hotel.
Send flight numbers so the pickup follows the actual landing. For executives heading straight to meetings, book a black car and give the meeting address, not the hotel. Airport-area hotels suit early departures.
Historic District group days: drop at Race Street, hold at Callowhill
Motorcoaches may not park on city streets; they use designated stops. Groups visiting Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell drop at the Independence Transportation Center on Race St between 5th and 6th. It has 11 loading spots with a 10 to 15 minute limit. Coaches then hold at the Callowhill Bus Center, which has about 40 coach spaces.
Plan loading, not just arrival. A 56-person group unloading bags and wheelchairs uses the whole window. Idling is capped at 5 minutes for heavy diesel vehicles, so the driver will not sit running at the curb.

Timed tickets set the bus schedule
Independence Hall uses timed tickets, and tour operators book them through Recreation.gov. Secure the tickets first, then set the coach drop 20 minutes ahead. The National Constitution Center is beside the bus drop; the Museum of the American Revolution is nearby.
Stadium nights and the Convention Center
The Pennsylvania Convention Center is next to Reading Terminal Market. A corporate shuttle from University City or airport-area hotels makes sense; Center City hotels mostly walk. For Eagles, Phillies, 76ers or Flyers nights, note that the arena is now Xfinity Mobile Arena, formerly Wells Fargo Center. Put both names in guest instructions.
Day trips: Valley Forge is about 23 miles, Lancaster County 60 to 80, Gettysburg about 140.
