Miami (MIA) airport car service and cruise group transfers
At MIA, ground transportation loads on Level 1 outside the terminal, and cruise buses have their own doors. PortMiami is 7 to 9 miles away.
MIA car service pickup on Level 1
Pre-arranged ground transportation loads on Level 1, outside the terminal. North, Central or South Terminal decides the stretch of curb. For a black car service arrival, send the airline and flight number; the driver confirms the exact spot with you before the day.

Cruise groups: Concourse D Door 1 and Concourse J Door 33
Cruise buses load at Concourse D Door 1 and Concourse J Door 33. For a group moving from MIA to the ship, those are the doors to brief.
Most cruise lines offer their own MIA-to-port transfers. A private transfer earns its place when the group wants to stay together, stop at a hotel first, or travel on a different schedule from the line's buses.
The port side has paperwork. PortMiami ground transport companies need an active port business permit and a GTS Go-Pass transponder; motorcoaches need a USDOT/FMCSA MC number. That is on the operator, but it is a fair question when you book.
Brickell, South Beach, Doral: fix the drop
About 8 miles and 15 to 30 minutes to downtown. Hotel zones pull in different directions: Downtown and Brickell, South Beach, the airport area and Doral, Coral Gables. A conference at the Miami Beach Convention Center is a different drive from a dinner in Brickell. Send the address, not the neighborhood. Stadium groups have their own targets: Kaseya Center on Biscayne Blvd, loanDepot park in Little Havana, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Match the airport to the port
PortMiami is about 7 miles from MIA and 26 from FLL. Port Everglades is about 2 miles from FLL and 27 from MIA. Where the flights allow, fly into the airport nearest the ship. A group landing at MIA for a Port Everglades sailing has a 30 to 45 minute transfer ahead of it, which is fine if the plan says so.
