Party vehicles and the Nashville alcohol rule
Party vehicles, known locally as transportainment, are regulated by the Metro Transportation Licensing Commission. Open alcohol has been banned on unenclosed party vehicles countywide since December 1, 2021. If drinks are part of the plan, specify an enclosed vehicle and ask what the operator allows on board.
Whatever the passengers may do, the driver may not use alcohol within four hours before driving.
Opry, Ryman and Broadway are different addresses
The Grand Ole Opry is at the Opry House in Music Valley; the Ryman Auditorium is downtown. Check the ticket before you book the car. Bridgestone Arena sits on Broadway itself, and closing time there is a crowd; agree a pickup point a block away.
Music City Center, Titans games and day trips
Music City Center is in SoBro. Shuttles from The Gulch, Midtown or Opryland hotels need set first and last runs. 2026 is the Titans' final season at Nissan Stadium; the new enclosed stadium is due for 2027.
Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg is about 72 miles, 1.5-2 hours; Franklin about 22 miles; Mammoth Cave about 95 miles. A Sprinter suits a small tasting group.
