About: a booking platform for car service and group transportation
Group Transport arranges chauffeured ground transportation for people who organize travel for others. We do not own vehicles or employ drivers. We book the right vehicle with a licensed, insured partner operator and put the terms in writing.
What we do, and what the operator does
We take the brief, choose the vehicle class, find a partner operator for the city and date, and send one quote for the whole vehicle with the driver included. The operator supplies the vehicle and the driver and runs the trip.
This split matters when you plan. Cancellation terms, luggage limits and what is allowed on board depend on the operator and vehicle. They are written on the quote so you can read them before accepting.
Written for travel managers, event planners and assistants
Most requests come from someone moving other people: an executive through three airports in two days, a sales team to a convention, a wedding party to a venue, a school group to a museum. The pages on this site are written for that job. They cover what to specify, what to confirm, and where timings tend to fail in each city, airport and port.
How to check an operator before you accept
Ask for the operator's USDOT number and look it up in FMCSA Bus Safety Search or SAFER. "Satisfactory" is the highest federal safety rating; "Not Rated" carriers may still operate. A carrier rated Unsatisfactory or under an out-of-service order should not run an interstate trip. Regulated buses must show the carrier name and USDOT number on both sides, so the vehicle that arrives should match the paperwork.
What we will not claim
No published prices, because a trip price depends on date, hours, distance, vehicle, waiting time, tolls and parking. No star ratings, customer counts or response-time promises. Pickup rules, distances and venue details on these pages are drawn from airport, port, venue and city sources; distances are approximate off-peak road figures.
Questions
Who is responsible on the day?
The partner operator runs the vehicle and employs the driver. We arranged the booking and can pass changes to the operator.
Are the operators licensed and insured?
We book licensed, insured partner operators. You can check any interstate carrier yourself by USDOT number before you accept.
Do you arrange trips outside the 20 listed cities?
Send the details. Coverage depends on whether a suitable partner operator serves the route and date.
