The Innovation Conference runs March 15-20, 2027. Film & TV and Music run March 15-21. The Comedy Festival runs March 17-20. A team attending Innovation only leaves a day earlier than a music team. Comedy starts two days later, so comedy-only guests can arrive later too. Book the departure transfer to the track, not the festival.

No convention center this year

The Austin Convention Center is still closed for rebuild during SXSW 2027. Programming is spread across downtown venues. Confirm each venue address before setting pickup points. Guests used to the old building will head there by habit.

The convention center garages at 201 E 2nd St and 601 E 5th St still operate. They can serve as landmark meet points if your venue is close by.

AUS arrivals, and when a vehicle is worth it downtown

Austin-Bergstrom is about 8 miles from downtown. Send flight numbers so the pickup follows the landing. Downtown streets fill during festival week; allow more time than the distance suggests.

Much of downtown SXSW is walkable. A vehicle earns its place for off-site events in East Austin, Rainey Street or South Congress, for hosted dinners, and for teams moving gear. A Sprinter carries up to 19; for more, go to a midsize coach.
